Tata-Maruti Car Selling in India: In the festive month of November in India, a huge jump has been recorded in the sales of cars and other vehicles of various domestic and foreign automobile manufacturing companies. As expected, Indian customers have given more importance to cars in this year’s festivals, but many companies could not get customers as expected for some of their specific models. There is competition in the market between two cars each of domestic car manufacturer Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki India. Among these, Maruti’s Brezza competes with Tata Motors’ Nexon and Maruti’s Baleno competes with Tata Punch. If we talk about the competition between these cars in terms of car sales in the festive month of November 2023, then Maruti’s Brezza and Baleno are seen defeating Tata’s Nexon and Punch. At the same time, if we look at the sales figures of these cars during the six months from June to November, Maruti’s Brezza and Baleno seem to be defeating Tata’s Nexon and Punch. Tata Nexon

Tata Nexon is one of the sub-compact SUV cars of Tata Motors. The company sold around 14,916 units of Nexon in the month during the festive season. Earlier, Tata Motors had sold around 16,887 units of Nexon in October 2023. Although, there is a decline of about 11.67 percent in the sales of this car on monthly basis this month, but in the month of November, this car has succeeded in defeating Maruti’s Brezza in terms of sales. Maruti has sold only about 13,393 units of Brezza in November. Talking about the sales of this car during the last six months, about 13,827 units of Nexon were sold in June, 12,349 units in July, 8,049 units in August, 15,325 units in September, 16,887 units in October and 14,916 units in November. Whereas, if we talk about six months from June to November, Tata Motors sold about 81,353 units of Nexon in these six months.

Punch is included among the SUV cars of Tata Motors. Tata has launched its CNG version in the market. Now preparations are underway to launch it in electric version. In the month of November festive season, Tata Motors sold around 14,383 units of Punch. Earlier it had sold about 15,317 units of it. Although there has been a decline of about 6.10 percent in its sales on a monthly basis, it has left Maruti’s Baleno behind in terms of sales in the month of November. Maruti sold around 12,961 units of Baleno in November. Talking about the sales of this car from June to November, Tata Motors sold about 80,268 units of Punch during six months. In this, it sold 10,990 units in June, 12,019 units in July, 14,523 units in August, 13,036 units in September, 15,317 units in October and 14,383 units in November.

Maruti Brezza

Maruti Suzuki India sold around 13,393 units of Brezza in the month of November during the festive season. Earlier in the month of October, Maruti sold about 16,050 units of Brezza. There has been a decline of about 16.55 percent in its sales on monthly basis and it is far less than Tata Nexon. But, if we talk about sales of Brezza during the six months from June to November, Maruti sold around 86,137 units of it, which is much more than Tata Nexon. If we look at its sales on a monthly basis, Maruti sold about 10,578 units of Brezza in June, 16,543 units in July, 14,572 units in August, 15,001 units in September, 16,050 units in October and 13,393 units in November.

Maruti Baleno

Maruti Suzuki India sold around 12,961 units of Baleno in November 2023. Before this, it sold about 16,594 units during the month of October. On monthly basis, there was a decline of about 21.89 percent in its sales, which is much more than Tata Punch. But, if we evaluate the sales of Baleno from June to November, then Maruti sold about 97,290 units of it during this period, whereas Tata sold only about 80,268 units of Punch. On this basis, Maruti has left Tata behind in terms of sales in these six months. On a monthly basis, Maruti sold around 14,077 units of Baleno in June. After this, 16,725 units were sold in July, 18,516 units in August, 18,417 units in September, 16,594 units in October and 12,961 units in November.
