Earlier, Amit Mishra had complained to the umpire that Virat was continuously abusing number 10 batsman Naveenul Haque.

The eyewitness said, ‘Gautam felt that the situation would worsen, so he pulled Myers from there and told him not to talk. Then Virat said something. What followed was a heated argument which was childish. Gautam said what are you talking about. On this Virat said that I did not say anything to you, why are you entering. On this, Gautam said that if you have spoken to my player, then you have abused my family and Virat said that you should take care of your family.

He said, ‘Gambhir said that now you will teach me. After this both were separated. According to eyewitnesses, the behavior of both was childish. Earlier in 2013 too, during the match of RCB and Kolkata Knight Riders, there was a clash between the two. Kohli was on the verge of becoming a superstar while Gambhir was the captain of KKR. Gambhir is as aggressive today and is also a TV expert. Apart from this, there is a mentor or remote control captain of Lucknow. While Kohli is the pivot of RCB though Faf du Plessis is the captain on paper.

A former India player said, ‘The relationship between the two is very complicated. Gautam is not a bad person but he is difficult to deal with.
