Voters of Tarapur in the role of judge

• Voters of Tarapur will play decisive role on Jamui Lok Sabha seat
• In terms of number of voters, Tarapur is at second place in Jamui Lok Sabha which has six assembly constituencies.
• Safe Jamui: There is a face-to-face contest between NDA and Grand Alliance in the Lok Sabha.

Jamui Lok Sabha seat: Tarapur. In the first phase, voting for Jamui Lok Sabha elections will be held on April 19. In this, the voters of Tarapur will play a decisive role, because in this parliamentary constituency of six assembly constituencies, after Jhajha, Tarapur assembly constituency has the highest number of voters, who will decide the fate of the NDA and Grand Alliance candidates. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the election rally from Jamui on Thursday regarding the first phase of elections. After this, political activity has intensified in Jamui Lok Sabha.

NDA is in control of Jamui seat since 2009.

Jamui Lok Sabha constituency came into existence in 2008. This seat reserved for Scheduled Caste is occupied by NDA since 2009 till now. Due to reservation of seats, candidates get direct benefit from it even in the name of the party. NDA candidate Bhudev Chaudhary won the elections held in 2009. He got 178560 votes, while his nearest rival RJD candidate Shyam Rajak got 148763 votes. At third position, Congress candidate Ashok Choudhary had received only 71267 votes. However, now Ashok Chaudhary is in JDU. In the 2014 elections, NDA had fielded Chirag Paswan from LJP. Once again the NDA candidate had defeated RJD candidate Sudhanshu Shekhar Bhaskar. However, at that time JDU was not a part of NDA and had made Uday Narayan Chaudhary its candidate. Chirag had defeated the RJD candidate. In the 2019 elections, NDA again fielded Chirag and he also won. A total of 529134 votes were cast in favor of Chirag, while RLSP candidate Bhudev Chaudhary got 288085 votes. The 2024 elections on this seat, which has been in the NDA’s kitty since 2009, have become quite interesting, because once again the NDA and the Grand Alliance are face to face here.

There is a direct contest between NDA and Grand Alliance

This time’s Lok Sabha elections are very exciting. In the NDA alliance, Jamui Lok Sabha seat has gone to LJP (R). Here Chirag Paswan has fielded his brother-in-law Arun Bharti. When RJD got this seat in the grand alliance, it made Archana Ravidas its candidate. Although there are more than half a dozen candidates in the fray, the direct contest here is between the NDA and the Grand Alliance. On one hand, Chirag is trying to ensure the victory of his brother-in-law by preventing burglaries in his political stronghold and even managed to invite PM Narendra Modi to the election rally. On the other hand, Avinash Kumar Vidyarthi alias Mukesh Yadav does not want to leave any stone unturned to help his wife Archana Ravidas win the elections. Mukesh Yadav has a very close relationship with the Lalu family, especially Tejashwi Yadav. Due to this, Jamui Lok Sabha elections are going to be very interesting.
