David Warner shared a video on his official Instagram page in which he told that he has lost his baggy green cap before the third Test match against Pakistan. He has said that this cap was stolen while coming from Melbourne to Sydney. According to Warner, he also checked the CCTV cameras of the team hotel and airlines but to no avail.
David Warner will play his final Test match against Pakistan at the SCG from January 3 and will retire as the fifth-highest run-scorer for Australia in this format.
Of his 8,695 runs in Test cricket at an average of 44.58, the 37-year-old has scored 793 runs at an average of 49.56 on his home ground, which includes four centuries.
The two-time Cricket World Cup winner announced on Monday that he will also retire from ODI cricket.
The left-handed opening batsman has scored 6,932 runs in ODIs at an average of 45.30 and a strike rate of 97.26.
