Pakistani official gave information
An official traveling with the Pakistani team said about Babar Azam’s birthday that it was a small ceremony, in which the players and support staff participated. There were not many activities as today was a travel day and the team will soon start preparing for the upcoming matches. On October 20, the team will take the field against Australia at M Chinnaswamy Stadium with the intention of registering its third win.
Last time Pakistan played a match in Bengaluru in 2012
This is also Pakistan’s first visit to Bengaluru after 2012. They then defeated India by five wickets in the first T20I match of the two-match series. Pakistan has played only two ODI matches in the Garden City. The first in the quarter-finals of the 1996 World Cup and the second in the finals of the Pepsi Cup in 1999. Ticket sales from Tuesday
The Karnataka State Cricket Association on Sunday said it will start selling tickets for the upcoming World Cup matches at the venue from Tuesday. Tickets will be sold from Tuesday to Thursday at the counters at Cubbon Road and Queens Road. The lowest ticket rate (H-Lower Stand) for the match between Australia and Pakistan is Rs 1000. Whereas the highest price of P-Terrace tickets has been fixed at Rs 25000. The same rate is also applicable on tickets for the match between Pakistan and New Zealand on November 4.
