Samson said – It is not about the number or condition of the overs found in the match. You will have to bat according to the order in which you will be put down for batting. He further said- It feels really great to spend some time on the field, score some runs and contribute for your country. I had different plans for different bowlers. I wanted to use my feet and dominate the length of the bowlers.

Samson said the conditions in Trinidad were much better than in Barbados, where the first two ODIs were played. Hardik Pandya, captaining in place of the resting Rohit Sharma, took charge towards the end of the Indian innings and scored a half-century. India had scored 351 runs for 5 wickets. In response, the Windies team got stacked on 151 runs. Pandya remained unbeaten on 70 off 52 balls.
