World Cup 2023: India will play practice match with England and Netherlands on this day, full schedule revealed

Dubai: The list of practice matches of the Mahakumbh i.e. ODI World Cup, which is going to start from October 5, has come to the fore. The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday announced the schedule of official warm-up matches for all the 10 teams. The practice matches will be played from September 29 to October 3 in three cities of India – Guwahati, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram. Fans can buy tickets for the warm-up matches from 25 August.
As in previous ICC Cricket World Cups, the warm-up matches will be of 50 overs only, but these matches will not have One Day International status as teams will be allowed to field all players in their 15-man squads for these matches. The first match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will be played between England and New Zealand in Ahmedabad on 5 October, which will also be the venue for the final on 19 November. All matches will start at 2:00 pm Indian time.
