New Delhi (Best Hindu News)- The World Cup 2023 trophy to be held in India this year was unveiled by the Board of Control for Cricket in India ie BCCI in a very unique way. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah shared a video on his Twitter account in which the World Cup trophy was sent to space. Along with this, he also informed that for the first time any sports trophy has been sent to space and it was unveiled there. Let us inform, this year World Cup 2023 is to be held in October-November and BCCI is going to announce its schedule tomorrow i.e. on 27th June.

This trophy of the World Cup 2023 was sent to space today i.e. on 26th June only. The trophy was unveiled at an altitude of 1,20,000 feet, where the temperature was -65 degrees. After coming from space, it was landed at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
BCCI Secretary Jah Shah tweeted this video and wrote, ‘A unique moment for the cricket world when the Cricket World Cup 2023 trophy was unveiled in space. It is a milestone of being one of the first official sports trophies to be sent into space. Really a great start to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy tour in India.
Starting on June 27, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup trophy will travel to 18 countries across the world including Kuwait, Bahrain, Malaysia, America, Nigeria, Uganda, France, Italy, United States of America and host nation India.
