New Delhi. The Pakistan Cricket Board has filed a formal complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC), alleging ill-treatment of Pakistani players by the Ahmedabad crowd during the match against India.
He also complained to the cricket governing body over the delay in visas for Pakistani journalists and the absence of a visa policy for Pakistani fans for the ongoing tournament.
In a statement released on “Another formal protest has been lodged.”
“The PCB has also lodged a complaint regarding inappropriate conduct of the Ahmedabad crowd with the Pakistani team during the India vs Pakistan match to be held on 14 October 2023.”
The high-tension match between India and Pakistan saw many disturbing moments as Pakistan captain Babar Azam was criticized by the crowd while leaving for the match. In another such example, when Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah, the crowd made fun of him.
Then, when Pakistan lost to India, Pakistan team director Mickey Arthur made a bold comment in the post-match press conference, saying that the game was organized by the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) rather than the ICC (International Cricket Council). Felt more like.
Pakistan will play its next match against Australia on October 20 in Bengaluru.
