The trials for male wrestlers (freestyle and Greco-Roman) will be held at the Sports Authority of India Center in Sonipat and for female wrestlers at NIS Patiala. Trials will be conducted in all 30 weight categories.
The ad-hoc committee looking after the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) will conduct trials in Sonipat and Patiala on March 10 and 11 to select the team for the upcoming qualifiers for the Asian Championships and Olympic Games.

The Bhupender Singh Bajwa-led ad-hoc committee said in a statement on Thursday that the winner of the Olympic weight category will represent India at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers (April 19-21) and World Olympic Qualifiers (May 9-12).
