Another English umpire, Richard Kettleborough, will also officiate in the second consecutive WTC final, having been appointed TV umpire once again. Kumar Dharmasena of Sri Lanka will be the fourth umpire while Richie Richardson of West Indies will be the match referee. India also played in the inaugural WTC final while Australia will play in the final of the Test Championship for the first time.
