Pudhari Online Desk : Yogi Government: The Yogi Government in Uttar Pradesh has made major changes in the syllabus of UP Board and CBSE Board. Henceforth Mughal history will not be mentioned in the schools, but in the academic session 2023-24, the topics related to Mughal history will be removed from the history book of class 12th. Apart from this, sections like rise of Islam, struggle of culture, industrial revolution, beginning of time have been removed from the 11th book.
‘Rulers and the Mughal court’ from ‘Indian Itihasache Kahi Vishay-II’ in the history textbook to be taught in class 2023-24 or in the academic session i.e. 12th, ‘American domination and cold war’ from the civics book, Rise of mass movement and one-party domination from the book Independent India Politics Apart from time, democracy and diversity, public struggle and movement in 10th standard, sections have come out to call for democracy.
