The officer said that the police started the investigation and with the help of technology, they traced the number from which the call was made. Based on the information received, the police reached Shahpur in Thane district, 70 km from Mumbai, and came to know that the call was made by a 16-year-old boy. The boy is a resident of Rajasthan and has been taken into custody. He will be handed over to Mumbai’s Azad Maidan Police for further legal action.

Last month also Salman Khan was threatened

He told that the intention of the boy behind threatening Salman Khan is yet to be known. Last month, the Mumbai Police had increased the security of Salman Khan after receiving a threatening e-mail. The police had also registered an FIR in this regard against crooks Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar. The actor was earlier provided ‘Y-Plus’ category security by the police and travels in a ‘bullet-proof’ car with his personal security personnel.

The Bandra police here last month lodged an FIR against Bishnoi, Brar and another person, Rohit, for allegedly sending threatening e-mails to Khan’s office. Bishnoi is currently lodged in a Punjab jail and Goldie Brar is an accused in the murder of singer Sidhu Musewala. Khan was also threatened through a handwritten letter in June 2022.
