162 broken PHCs and CHCs of Haryana will be made new: Anil Vij, Chandigarh News in Hindi

Chandigarh. Health and Family Welfare Minister Anil Vij said that we want to provide state-of-the-art facilities in all hospitals and 162 dilapidated PHCs and CHCs will be made new, tender for which has been floated and work has also been started at some places.
Vij said that apart from this, administrative approval has been given for 134 sub health centres, 2 primary health centres, one community and 37 public health centres. Vij was answering a question during the winter session of the Assembly on Monday.
He said that a proposal to set up Cath Lab and MRI services in Mukund Lal Nagarik in Yamunanagar under PPP mode is under consideration. But at present, there is no proposal under consideration to set up ICU or provide radiotherapy services.
He said that about 6 months is required to finalize the tender process for Cath Lab and MRI services. The Health Minister said that cath lab services are currently running in 04 districts (Ambala, Faridabad, Gurugram, and Panchkula) under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. Tender has already been issued for 3 more districts Sonipat, Bahadurgarh (Jhajjar) and Yamunanagar. Cath lab services are likely to start after finalizing the tender process.
He informed that MRI services are already being provided in 5 districts (Ambala, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurugram and Panchkula) under PPP mode. Tender has already been issued for 5 more districts Kurukshetra, Panipat, Bahadurgarh, (Jhajjar) Palwal and Charkhi Dadri. A proposal to set up MRI services at Mukand Lal District Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar under PPP mode is also under consideration.
MCH wing will open in Kaithal Civil Hospital:
A 100 bedded MCH (Maternal and Child Health) wing is under consideration to be established in the old civil hospital premises of Kaithal city. The construction work is likely to be completed in a period of 2 to 3 years after the necessary approvals are issued. He said that it will be made soon. He said that we are building MCH hospitals at eight places in the state which include Panchkula, Panipat, Faridabad, Sonipat, Palwal, Nanhad (Nuh), Kaithal and Sirsa.
