New Delhi: iPhone maker Apple’s revenue grew by double digits in the October-December 2023 quarter on strong iPhone sales. Apple’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tim Cook said, there was growth in India in terms of revenue. Delivered strong double-digit growth and record revenues in the December quarter. Apple’s quarterly revenue stood at US $ 119.6 billion, an increase of two percent year-on-year. In the quarter under review, the company’s revenue from iPhone increased by about six percent to US $ 69.7 billion.
In October-December 2022 it was $65.77 billion. Cook said the company recorded all-time high revenues in Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Poland and other emerging markets including Turkey, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia etc. iPad sales declined by about 25 percent to about US $ 7 billion in the December 2023 quarter. Apple’s wearables, home and accessories segment sales also declined nearly 11 percent year-on-year to US$11.95 billion in the quarter.
