A day after Bollywood’s popular actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui filed a Rs 100 crore defamation suit against his wife and brother, Alia has now sought a settlement. He has sent the “settlement draft” to Aaliya’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui.

According to the report, Rizwan questioned the timing of the settlement draft. He further added that any settlement reached between the two parties would also include withdrawal of the defamation suit for any settlement between the actor and his estranged wife.

On the evening of Saturday, March 25, advocate Rizwan Siddiqui received the draft of the proposed settlement from the actor’s lawyer. “These consent terms are open to discussion. We look forward to receiving your proposed terms prior to the hearing, which is on March 27, 2023,” the settlement said.

Nawaz and Aaliya will have to appear before the Bombay High Court on Monday, March 27. While the court is hearing a petition filed by Alia, seeking quashing of the FIR lodged against her by the actor’s family, it said that the parties concerned should reach a settlement. issues between them.

During a habeas corpus hearing on 23 March, Siddiqui’s counsel and his wife’s counsel told another branch of the Bombay High Court that both were willing to put all issues behind them for the sake of their children. Earlier, the actor had filed a defamation case against Alia and her own brother Shamas Siddiqui, seeking Rs 100 crore as damages. The hearing of this case will be held in the Bombay High Court on 30 March.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has accused his brother of cheating. As per the petition, Nawaz had given his credit cards, ATM cards, bank passwords, etc. to his brother, who was working with him as his manager, in 2008 and Shamas jointly bought the properties, but told Nawaz that They are being bought in his name. The properties include a flat and a semi-commercial property in Yari Road, a place in Buldhana, a farmhouse in Shahpur, a property in Dubai along with 14 vehicles including Range Rovers, BMW, Ducati, etc.

As per a report, Nawaz also accused his brother Shamas of instigating his wife Aaliya to file false cases against him. The petition also claimed that his wife was married to someone else and yet he presented himself as an unmarried Muslim before marriage. The actor has also claimed that his wife has misappropriated Rs 10 lakh per month for their children’s education and Rs 2.5 crore to start a production house. He claims he used the money on himself.
