Aamir Khan celebrated his 59th birthday, cut cake with his ex-wife – Dainik Savera Times

Mumbai: Well-known Bollywood actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan turned 59 today. Aamir Khan was born on 14 March 1965 in Mumbai. His father Tahir Hussain and uncle Nasir Hussain were well-known film producers. Due to the film environment at home, Aamir Khan also became interested in films and he started dreaming of becoming an actor. Aamir Khan started his cinema career in the year 1973 as a child artist with the film Yaadon Ki Baaraat, made under the banner of his uncle Nasir Hussain.

Later, he also worked as a child artist in the film ..Madhosh.. released in the year 1974. After this he stayed away from the film industry for almost 11 years. Aamir Khan started his career as an actor with the film Holi released in 1984, but failed to make his mark among the audience.

After struggling for almost four years in Mumbai, Aamir Khan became successful in making his mark in the film industry as an actor after the success of the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak made under the banner of his uncle Nasir Hussain in 1988. He received the Filmfare Award for Debut Actor that year for his powerful performance.

In the year 1994, a new color of Aamir Khan’s acting was seen in the film Andaz Apna Apna directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Before this film, it was said about him that he could only play romantic roles but Aamir Khan mesmerized the audience with his comic acting along with actor Salman Khan. He was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his excellent performance in the film.
