Actress Juhi Chawla remembers the old days and said, before marriage she used to receive love letters everyday

Mumbai . Actress Juhi Chawla, who has been married to industrialist Jai Mehta for 29 years now, shared an adorable anecdote about their love story, revealing that they used to exchange letters and cards with each other before marriage. How were they provided?

Juhi appeared in the special episode ‘Jashn Juhi Ka’ of dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, an ode to Juhi’s fascinating career in Indian cinema, went down memory lane while talking about her love story with Jai Gone.

She said, before marriage, he used to write letters to me every day. But all this stopped after marriage. In those days, we used to send letters and cards to each other, which has now evolved into emails and WhatsApp messages.

Juhi also told that once on her birthday, Jai sent her a truck full of red roses.

“Jay and I met at a dinner and then he started hovering around me,” she said. Once, on my birthday, he sent me a truckload of red roses and it took me a year to say ‘yes’ to him.

In the special episode, Adrija Sinha, along with choreographer Akash Thapa, surprised everyone with her unique interpretation of the song ‘Aye Mere Humsafar’, highlighting the beautiful relationship between pen and paper.

Juhi, overwhelmed by this performance, said, I am very happy today, because once again your performance was excellent. Both of you are very good dancers. Your coordination, your moves, the dance on the slope… I’m sure it’s not easy, and coordinating it together on top of that was very, very cool. Fabulous.
