Adipurush: Idol will be placed on the seat of Lord Hanuman, flowers will be offered

Less than 18 hours are left for the show time of Adipurush and the excitement of the audience is at its peak. The advance booking has started on a bang note and going by the ticket sales, the Prabhas-starrer is expected to get a huge opening. The film has been in the news for many reasons. Last week, the film became the talk of the town when the makers announced that a seat will be reserved for Lord Hanuman in every show of Adipurush across the country. According to the news coming now, the idol of Lord Hanuman will be placed on the seat reserved for Lord Hanuman in Adipurush’s show and flowers will be offered on it.

In this regard, sources associated with the film say that the seats reserved for Lord Hanuman will not be vacant. Multiplex chains like Miraj and Inox are going to install a small aasan, on which an idol or picture of Lord Hanuman will be placed. Will offer flowers on the idol or picture of God. Flowers will be changed daily. The source further added, the distributors or makers have not instructed the theaters to do so. The performers are doing it on their own because of their devotion to Lord Hanuman. As per the instructions of the distributor, the seat to be reserved for Lord Hanuman will be in the first row in the corner. The source also added, “PVR is expected to do something similar. Some single screen and other multiplex chains may also follow suit.

Another multiplex source said, “The idol or picture will be placed so that no one occupies the seat or kicks it from behind or throws garbage under the seat. This is a sensitive matter and hence the decision of the multiplex is absolutely correct.

Apart from Prabhas, Adipurush also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Devdutt Nag, Vatsal Sheth and Sunny Singh. Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush will release in 2D and 3D on June 16 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
