Mumbai (Uttam Hindu News): Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar’s gangster-drama film ‘Satya’ recently completed 25 years of its release. On this occasion, the actress expressed displeasure remembering those days. Also talked about ‘favouritism’ and ‘nepotism’.
The actress took to Twitter to share a few stills of her character ‘Vidya’ in the 1998 film ‘Satya’ directed by Ram Gopal Varma.
The actress wrote in the caption, “It’s been 25 years since ‘Satya’ played the simple, naive girl Vidya at the pinnacle of a fabulously glamorous career. But no, what does this have to do with ‘acting’. So no award, no nomination either. So, sit down and don’t talk to me about favoritism and nepotism..just saying.”
Urmila acted in many glamorous roles, she worked with ‘Satya’ in films like ‘Kaun’ and ‘Ek Hasina Thi’.
Bollywood actress Kajol’s film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ was also released around ‘Satya’. ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ won several awards at various award ceremonies.
