His statement came during his visit to Gujarat, where the actor offered prayers at Shri Somnath Jyotirling and Dwarkadhish Temple. When reporters asked her whether she would contest the next Lok Sabha elections, Ranaut said, “If Shri Krishna is pleased, I will contest,” news agency PTI quoted her as saying.
Kangana Ranaut will enter politics
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Friday hinted at entering electoral politics, saying that if Lord Krishna blesses her, she will contest the next Lok Sabha elections. Kangana came here this morning to offer prayers at the famous Dwarkadhish temple of Lord Krishna. When reporters asked her whether she would contest the next Lok Sabha elections, Kangana said, “If Shri Krishna is pleased, I will contest.” He praised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government for making possible the consecration of Lord Ram’s statue in Ayodhya “after 600 years of struggle”.
Kangana hints at contesting Lok Sabha elections
The actress said, “With the efforts of the BJP government, we Indians have got to see this day after 600 years of struggle. We will establish the temple with great pomp. The flag of Sanatan Dharma should be hoisted all over the world.” Kangana is playing the role of an Air Force pilot in her recently released film ‘Tejas’. Kangana also urged the government to take measures to allow pilgrims to see the remains of the ancient Dwarka city submerged under the sea. She told reporters, “I always say that Dwarka is a divine city. Everything is amazing here. Dwarkadhish is present in every particle. I feel blessed when we see them. I always try to come here and see God as much as possible. Whenever I get some free time from work, I come.”
He said, “The submerged city of Dwarka can be seen from above also. I would like the government to provide such a facility that people can go underwater and see the remains. For me, Krishna’s city is like heaven.” Kangana also talked about her upcoming films, including “Emergency” and “Tanu Weds Manu Part 3”, directed and produced by her.
