Deepika Padukone is all set to start the year with a bang with the release of Siddharth Anand’s Fighter. The movie stars Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal ‘Minnie’ Rathore. The trailer of the film, released on 15 January 2024, reveals that the film alludes to the 2019 Pulwama incident, 2019 Balakot air strike and the 2019 border conflict between India and Pakistan.

In Nag Ashwin’s film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, Deepika will share the screen with many big stars including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. Reports suggest that this film is being made on a budget of Rs 600 crore and it is the most expensive Indian film till date.

This film is a science-fiction fantasy. In this film based on a dystopian world, Prabhas plays the role of Kalki, who is against a tyrannical regime. The film is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. It will come on 9 May 2024.

Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again is another film in his cop universe. The film has a big star cast like Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

Deepika Padukone debuted as a female policeman in the film. In her first look poster released in October 2023, she is looking bold and fearless like Shakti Shetty. This film is all set to release in theaters on 15 August 2024.
