Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur were Punjabi singers who were murdered in Mehsampur village in 1988. The actress will be playing the role of Amarjot Kaur in this film. Whereas, Diljit Dosanjh will be seen playing the role of Amar Singh Chamkila.
