Marty Edelstein, CEO of the show’s production company Tomorrow Studios, confirmed that a second season is in production and awaiting approval from Netflix.
According to Variety, the production house wants to begin filming soon but is waiting for the green light from Netflix and the end of the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike. “In a year to 18 months, we could be ready to air,” Tomorrow Studios president Becky Clements told Variety while talking about the release of ‘One Piece Season 2.’ Audiences can expect the release of ‘One Piece Live Action Season 2’ by 2024.
Echo Godoy plays Monkey D. Luffy in the Netflix series, with McKenna playing Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd playing Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson playing Usopp, and Taz Skylar playing Sanji.
