Agra Crime: Police raided the house of ‘The Kerala Story’ actress, 11 arrested and lakhs of rupees recovered.

The house of The Kerala Story actress Sonia Balani in Alok Nagar Colony, Jagdishpura area of ​​Agra was decorated with a gathering of gamblers. During this time the police raided and arrested 11 gamblers. More than Rs 1 lakh has been recovered from the spot. This house has been given on rent by the Balani family. The tenant ran away during the raid. Some of the arrested accused have been jailed in the past also on gambling charges. ACP Lohamandi Mayank Tiwari said that information was received about gambling in a house in Alok Nagar. This house has been given on rent by Ramesh Balani, father of actress Sonia Balani. Ramesh Balani is a sole trader. He lives with his family in another house in the same house. Actress Sonia lives in Mumbai. During investigation it was found that the house was taken on rent by one Sanjeev alias Sushil Rawat. His acquaintances used to come here every Monday to gamble. When the police raided the station on Monday, no one was ready to open the door. The police surrounded the house from all sides. When the police somehow opened the door and entered the room, there was panic among the gamblers. Some were found in the kitchen, some in the bathroom and many were found hidden under the bed. ACP Mayank Tiwari said that the police conducted a search and arrested 11 gamblers. Rs 1.18 lakh, 11 vehicles, 12 mobiles and decks of cards have been recovered from there. The youths caught are working for businessmen, who come on holidays to fulfill their hobbies. Sanjeev alias Sushil Rawat has not been found on the spot. It is being ascertained where he originally hails from.

The servant of the house started introducing himself to a gambler

Police caught a gambler from the kitchen. He started calling himself a servant of the house. When interrogated with other gamblers, they told that he was also placing bets with them. Police have arrested Amit Aggarwal, Mehran, Manish, Alpit, Amit Singh, Babi alias Shri Bhagwan, Pankaj, Hariom Verma, Lalitesh, Deepu and Shahrukh. Shahrukh is a gym trainer and body builder. He has also been caught gambling in Sikandra area in the past. Many of the arrested gamblers work for bullion traders in the old city. Used to come here to gamble on Mondays during weekly closure. At many police stations in the city, the police on Sunday called gamblers and speculators to the police stations and made them take an oath not to gamble and speculate. The police want to give them a chance to improve. Just 24 hours after taking the oath, 11 people were caught gambling in the mansion. Although none of them had taken the oath.
