Bollywood actress and former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been issued a notice for non-payment of tax of Rs 21,960 for her one hectare land in Advadi village of Nashik. According to a report, the actress has promised to pay the tax by January 18, 2023, Wednesday.

The notice, dated January 9, 2023, states that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is yet to pay Rs 21,960 for her land in Nashik’s Sinnar district. The dues are for a period of one year and reportedly need to be paid within 10 days of the deadline.

“The legal advisor of the actress met us today and told us that the tax will be paid by tomorrow. He has invested in a windmill. The land was purchased in 2009. He has paid tax for so many years. Sinnar Tehsildar Eknath Bungalow said, the tax is pending only for this particular assessment year.

He said, “Our revenue assessment year starts from August. We have sent them demand notices twice, but they have not responded. Now on January 9, we have again sent them notices to pay taxes. We have given them 10 days was given time. , But now her advisor told us that the tax will be paid by tomorrow.” No official word has been made by the actress regarding the development as of now.
