Not many know but Aishwarya was earlier offered a role in the film. The actress reportedly could not be a part of the film as she had to participate in the Miss World pageant.

Both Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel made a name for themselves in Bollywood with the 2000 blockbuster Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. However, the role of the leading lady first went to Aishwarya. Unfortunately the actress could not be a part of the project due to date issues.

Helmed by Gracy Singh, the comedy-drama was earlier offered to Aishwarya. Reportedly, the actress turned it down due to Sanjay Dutt’s turbulent phase.

Maze

The film has to be one of the finest works of Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. It is not easy to play a complex character like Avni/Manjulika but Vidya pulls it off and how! It is being told that before Vidya, the film went to Aishwarya. However, she could not take up the project due to unknown reasons. The film became the top grosser of 2007.

Bajirao Mastani

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have worked together and one of the biggest hits of all time is Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam Di. SLB wanted to cast Salman Khan and Aishwarya for Bajirao Mastani, however, the pairing did not work out. Years later, it was remade into a film with Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. And it became another blockbuster project of Bhansali.
