In a special conversation with News18, Aishwarya Sharma revealed how was her first audition for the show Udaan. He shared how the casting director for the show stopped receiving his calls. The actress said, “My first audition was for a show called Udaan. I didn’t know how actors were chosen or anything.”

He further said, “I called them (casting directors) repeatedly and asked if I had been selected but after a point they stopped receiving my calls.” I was sure whether he chooses me or not but just informs me. In this industry, even if you are replaced, you never know. This has happened to me three times. I faced a lot of rejections.”

He said, there were many breakdown moments as he had to face rejections even after giving auditions. He did small roles to pay the bills. Whatever he got, he did to the character. Aishwarya said, “There were many such moments when I broke down. When you face so many rejections, you have to pay the bills too. Do whatever you can to pay the least amount of rent. That’s why I have also done small roles. People made fun of me a lot. It was all part of my journey. I am very proud of it.”
