Akshay Kumar to present documentary on Sardar Patel’s Statue of Unity

Mumbai . Actor Akshay Kumar is all set to present the documentary Statue of Unity: Ekta Ka Pratik. Akshay said it is about honoring the great spirit of unity, which resonates within every Indian.

Statue of Unity: A Symbol of Unity documentary is directed by Aanand L Rai. It is based on the journey of turning an ambitious vision into reality. The 40-minute documentary binds the country together with a sense of unity.

It pays tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the creator of Akhand India, who led the unification of 562 fragmented princely states into one nation after independence.

The documentary also includes insights from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who conceived the project as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. The documentary describes the step-by-step journey of the construction of the Statue of Unity.

On the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birthday in 2013, the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone for the completion of his 182 meter high statue.

Akshay said, Statue of Unity: Being a part of the symbol of unity has been a special experience for me. It is about respecting the great spirit of unity, which resonates within every Indian.

He said, Sardar Patel’s vision and leadership inspires us and reminds us of our strength as a nation. I hope this documentary will be a reminder of our shared heritage and the power of coming together for a common purpose.

The documentary also mentions the unique initiative of PM Modi in which he had asked to buy iron for the statue. To make this statue, he asked for old and useless farming tools from farmers across India. I went.

As the documentary progresses, the team behind the Statue of Unity takes the audience on an awe-inspiring journey.

Director Anand said, revolution is born when people come together for a bigger purpose. Sardar Patel was a visionary who advocated the importance of unity in the process of nation building.

He said that this documentary reflects the legacy of the pioneer of united India.

The documentary also includes the success and upliftment stories of the local people who have benefited from the project, and their town has become a major tourist destination. The documentary continues with a tour of some of the notable tourist attractions around the Statue of Unity.

It focuses on the busy tourist destination, which sees up to 50,000 tourists in a single day.

Statue of Unity: Ekta Ka Pratik will premiere on March 8 on History TV18.
