‘OMG 2’ gets 12+ certification in Oman, UAE

After the Indian Censor Board (CBFC) cleared the upcoming film with 27 cuts in India, it is now reported that ‘OMG 2’ has got censor certification for viewing by 12+ age group without any cuts in UAE and Oman. Hindustan Times quoted Viacom18 Motion Pictures COO Ajit Andhare as saying, “Happy to inform that the censor authorities in Oman have cleared our film OMG 2 in the 12+ category without any cuts. The film has also been cleared for exhibition by the censor authority in the United Arab Emirates, while Quebec, Canada has cleared it in a normal category without any cuts.

A 12A certificate in the UAE means that children above the age of 12 are allowed to watch the film. Notably, the Censor Board of India has cleared the film with an ‘Adults Only’ certificate to release across theaters on August 11.
