Tunisha Sharma and Sheezan Khan’s show ‘Ali Baba: Dastan-e-Kabul’ has been making headlines for quite some time now. The show has been in trouble ever since the suicide of its lead actress Tunisha Sharma. In such a situation, the makers had decided to change the location of the set for a few days. But once again everyone has returned to the old set with worship. In a recent interview, Sayantani Ghosh, who plays Simsim in Ali Baba, narrated the story after Tunisha’s death. He told how things have been on the sets. Not only this, the actress also revealed that the makers have offered therapy sessions for the entire crew keeping in mind the emotional health of the crew.


Sayantani Ghosh said in an interview to Siddharth Kannan that the producers were very upset after Tunisha’s departure. He thought of everyone’s emotional and mental health. The actress told, ‘It was not easy to go to the sets and work. The producer called all of us into his office and asked us how we were feeling. He has also offered us therapy sessions. Therapy sessions will be given especially to the children present on the set. Initially, he did not even invite the children on the set, but now he has to do so as the shooting is going on.

‘.. I thought the show would go off air’

Sayantani further told that earlier she thought that the show would go off air. But this is a TV show, with which the whole team is involved. Many people’s income and in other words life is linked to this show. In such a situation, the entire team took a difficult decision and thought of taking the show forward. Let us tell you that the shooting of ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabool’ has been started once again with a new lead.

How was Sayantani’s condition

Sayantani was also a close friend of Tunisha Sharma. During the interview, the actress told that it was not easy to return to the set. She said, ‘I was feeling very broken after this incident. I could not handle myself emotionally. I felt like nothing in my life had any meaning. I wanted to cry for 5-6 days but could not cry. Not only mentally, she was not able to calm herself physically as well. I did not sleep for many nights.
