Alia Bhatt hosted Hope Gala event, raised funds for underprivileged children – Dainik Savera Times

Mumbai: Actress Alia Bhatt hosted the ongoing charity event Hope Gala in London. She raised funds at the event to help the Salaam Bombay Foundation, which works for underprivileged children in India. Alia said, ‘I am happy to play a small role in helping shape these children’s stories.

Today is the beginning of our efforts and with people’s support, I am confident that we will make significant progress in empowering the coming generations.’Alia was accompanied by actress-model Poppy Delevingne, director Gurinder Chadha, Serum Institute of India’s Natasha at the event. Many others including Poonawala participated. Indian singer Harshdeep Kaur performed at the event. There was also a funny conversation between Alia and comedian Rohan Joshi.
