The story of the film runs in two different landscapes. There is a story of Amrita (Alaya) and Yakub (Karan Mehta) in Dalhousie, India. One story is of Ayesha (Alaya) and Harmeet (Karan Mehta) in London. Amrita is crazy about DJ Mohabbat (Vicky Kaushal). She runs away from home with Yakub to attend one of his concerts and here the story reaches Love Jihad. In a love story based in London, Harmeet himself is a struggling musician and wants to make a big name in music, but Ayesha enters his life and his life takes a different turn. In both these love stories, the patriarchal society is against them. Where does the patriarchal society take these two love stories. This is the story ahead. Anurag Kashyap has tried to say many things together in this film. In this love story, patriarchy, love jihad, obsession with religion, arbitrariness of parents taking decisions for their children have been included together and the film is not able to do justice to any one subject properly. Everything seems incomplete like the end of the film.

Nice try by Alaya and Karan

Talking about acting, the role of Alaya F and Karan Mehta is double in the film. Alaya F has done justice to both the roles. Karan has remained a little less in the character of Yakub. However, in terms of the first film, he definitely raises hopes.. Vicky Kaushal has played his role in an interesting way. The work of the rest of the characters is in line with the story.
