Amitabh Bachchan, who was in the news after undergoing angioplasty on Friday, was seen enjoying and cheering for his team Majhi Mumbai in the evening.
The legendary actor was seen cheering for his team Majhi Mumbai in the final match of ISPL (Indian Street Premier League) Tigers of Kolkata. This match was held at Dadoji Kondadev Stadium, Pune. Many pictures and videos of Big B are going viral on the internet.
In the viral pictures and videos, Amitabh Bachchan can be seen wearing a white hoodie with black joggers and sports shoes. His son Abhishek Bachchan was also with him for the ISPL final match.
Amitabh Bachchan underwent angioplasty at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Friday. According to hospital sources, the actor’s angioplasty was not performed on his heart but on some clots in his leg. Earlier this year, a news about the veteran actor being critical had gone viral on social media, following which India TV’s fact checking team checked the authenticity of the news and found it to be misleading. Later ‘Master Blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar also joined him.
Amitabh Bachchan is the owner of Mumbai team in ISPL, the first tennis ball cricket league. The inaugural edition saw the contest between six teams – Majhi Mumbai, Srinagar Veers, Chennai Singams, Tigers of Kolkata, Falcon Risers Hyderabad and Bangalore Strikers. The league started on 6 March.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Big B will next be seen in the sci-fi action thriller Kalki 2898 AD alongside Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. He also has a courtroom drama film Section 84 in his kitty. On the other hand, Abhishek is being appreciated for his performance in the sports drama film Ghoomar alongside Saiyami Kher and Angad Bedi.
