Two legends of Indian cinema, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen together again on the big screen.The duo, who shared screen space in films like Andha Kanoon, Arrest and Hum, will be reuniting on screen after almost 32 years with the upcoming film titled Thalaivar 170. Will be seen sharing the space.

Significantly, Rajinikanth has recently completed the shooting of Jailer and is working on his daughter’s directorial film Laal Salaam. After two films, he will be seen in Jai Bheem fame director TJ Gnanavel’s upcoming film Thalaivar 170. Will be seen working together. The film in question will be the 170th film of his career, hence it has been tentatively titled Thalaivar 170. The film is being produced by Lyca Productions. Amitabh Bachchan has been signed for the same film due to which both the legends will join hands after almost 32 years. According to reports, Piku star will play a key role in the Rajinikanth starrer.

It is being told that earlier Ponniyan Selvan actor Chiyaan Vikram was selected for this role, but now no information has been received about how Amitabh Bachchan arrived in his place. As of now, there is no word from the makers as to when the film will go on floors, however, it is expected that the shooting of Thalaivar 170 will begin by the end of this year.

Rajinikanth wraps up shooting for Jailer

Rajinikanth has recently completed his film Jailer after a long shooting schedule. The veteran actor will be seen playing the role of jailer Muthuvel Pandian in the film, which also stars Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan and others. Malayalam actor Mohanlal will also be seen enthralling his fans for the jailer through his extended cameo in Jailer.
