Amitabh Bachchan bids goodbye to Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 with teary eyes, says – Become a witness to a new India

New Delhi. Amitabh Bachchan, who is hosting ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’, bid an emotional farewell to the quiz-based reality show and said that he has seen a new India from the ten seats of the stage.

The first episode of season 15 premiered on August 14. Amitabh has hosted 14 seasons of the knowledge-based reality show since 2000. However, season 3 of the show, which premiered in 2007, was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The last episode of this season featured IAS aspirant Avinash Bharti, who hails from Haiderganj, Uttar Pradesh. He won an amount of Rs 50 lakh.

The finale episode also featured Indian para-archer Sheetal Devi and actress Vidya Balan. She was followed by veteran actress Sharmila Tagore and her granddaughter and diva Sara Ali Khan.

In episode 100, titled ‘Farewell Time’, the megastar was seen giving a monologue. For the finale episode, Amitabh wore a red suit and paired it with a white shirt.

In the monologue, the ‘Don’ fame actor said, “Goodbye!… is really strange, people who say goodbye with a smile actually do so with a heavy heart. Saying goodbye to someone close makes you sad because their Leaving leaves a void in your heart.”

The 81-year-old actor shared that he wanted to sit on the audience seats.

“These seats are occupied by the audience and their selfless love,” he said. By people who are here to help complete strangers. Prayers are offered here. I have seen a new India on these 10 seats (Fastest Finger First Seat). A proud and progressive India…”

The ‘Brahmastra’ fame actor further said, “An India with unbreakable and determined resolve… an India which wrote new destinies with the ink of its hard work.” I have seen the future being shaped and history being written. It feels as if I have seen the entire journey of someone’s life.

Amitabh said that stage is his strength.

He concluded his monologue by saying, “The audience’s resounding applause not only honors the efforts of every contestant but also inspires me to always move forward. I want to end this season with the same applause.”

Retired squadron leader Sushmita Sahay was the first contestant of the 15th season. Jaskaran Singh, who aspired to become an IAS, became the first winner of Rs 1 crore in season 15.
