Amitabh Bachchan praised Rashmika’s performance in Animal

New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has praised his ‘Alvida’ co-star Rashmika Mandanna’s performance in her recent film ‘Animal’ and called it brilliant.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Animal’ stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film revolves around the complex relationship of a business magnate Balbir Singh (Anil) and his son Arjun Singh (Ranbir).

The film also stars Trupti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra and Suresh Oberoi.

In episode 85 of the quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’, host Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Pramod Bhaske from Nanded, Maharashtra on the hot seat.

During the gameplay, the contestant told Big B: “Sir, you did not ask me about my hobbies.”

Responding to them, Amitabh jokingly said: “What are your hobbies?”

The contestant said, “I like listening to music.” I am more fond of watching films and that too especially South Indian films. I am a big fan of Rashmika Mandanna. He has no other fan like me.

The contestant said, “I am his fan since 2016. His first Kannada film ‘Kirik Party’ was released in 2016. I have been his fan since then. Let me tell you an interesting fact. I have seen him on social media thrice till now. The reply has been received. I had also proposed her through a tweet.

Big B jokingly asked, “Have you had any exchanges recently?”, to which Pramod replied: “No, sir. He is very busy with promotions. I am very busy right now,” he said. “

The ‘Yaaraana’ actor said: “Do one thing. Send her a similar message, write, ‘Sorry, Rashmika. I am also busy.’ I’ll text you when I have time.’ Let’s see what happens after that.

Later during the game, the 81-year-old actor said: ”While playing this game, you told us about your favorite actor. “Did you ever meet him?”

Pramod gets excited after seeing Rashmika on video call and tells her: “I like you a lot.” I love you. It was my dream to meet you in person.”

Rashmika replied to the contestant and said, “I wish I could meet you in person one day.” I want to wish you all the best. you are doing very well. I’m proud of you.”

The ‘Siliseela’ fame actor said: “Thank you so much, Rashmika. We keep watching your films and your latest one was amazing. Loved your performance in ‘Animal’.”

Rashmika said: “Oh, thank you sir!”
