An interesting incident came to light in the recent episode of Coffee with Karan.

Mumbai In the recent episode of streaming chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’, Bollywood stars Kajol and Rani Mukherjee were seen on the controversial sofa.

As the three friends started talking, they remembered many memories of their three decade old friendship, one of them was the incident when Karan Johar, Rani’s husband Aditya Chopra, actress Raveena Tandon’s husband Anil Thadani and celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra was in the UK, and someone thought they were a couple.

Taking a trip down memory lane, Karan said, “Adi was setting up Yash Raj Films in the UK and Anil Thadani was his partner at that time. So we took a two-bedroom apartment at that time because I was shopping with Manish And he was setting up Yash Raj Office.

He further said, “The man who was the watchman of that building looked at Adi and Anil once in the morning because Adi and Anil used to go out first in the morning in corporate clothes. And then Manish and I used to go out with our shopping bags, so the watchman I once told Adi that you two are such a lovely couple.

The filmmaker further added, “We felt as if our husbands were going to work and we were wives who went shopping and wasted our money.”

On hearing this story, Rani and Kajol started laughing loudly. Kajol quipped, “You all take very good care of your husbands.”
