Two Bollywood films were released on December 1. Both the films were discussed for a long time and the audience was also curious. The first film was ‘Animal’ directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It has a strong star cast like Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna. Vicky Kaushal is in the lead role in the second film ‘Sam Bahadur’. Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh have also played important roles. The first day earning figures of both these films have been revealed.
‘Sam Bahadur’ is a biographical film based on Sam Manekshaw, the former Chief of Army Staff of India and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. According to ‘Sacknilk’, the film collected Rs 5.50 crore on the first day across the country. Whereas ‘Animal’ is a completely commercial film. The film has earned around Rs 61 crore from all languages across the country on the first day. The earning of ‘Animal’ is much more than that of ‘Sam Bahadur’.
The themes of ‘Sam Bahadur’ and ‘Animal’ are different from each other. ‘Sam Bahadur’ presents to the audience the contribution of Sam Manekshaw to the Indian Army, his life journey, his patriotism, while ‘Animal’ is a film that tells the story of the strange relationship between a father and son. If we look at the figures of the first day, there has been a tremendous jump in the earnings of ‘Sam Bahadur’.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal was asked about two films releasing on the same day. Then Vicky said, “I will answer this in the language of cricket. When two opening batsmen come to the crease to play for the same team, we cannot say that these two batsmen are playing against each other. Because they are playing for the same team. We are also working for Hindi cinema. One of these batsmen can hit fours, sixes and the other one will stay on the pitch for one or two runs and maintain the strike.”
