Animal box office collection | Ranbir Kapoor’s film crosses Rs 500 crore mark in India

Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s ‘Animal’ is in its third week in theaters and is running successfully. In 17 days, the action drama crossed the Rs 500 crore mark in India. The film saw an increase in its earnings in theaters during the weekend. The film earned around Rs 15 crore in India on Sunday, 17 December. Ranbir’s ‘Animal’ has been performing brilliantly in theaters since its release on December 1.

Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ has crossed the Rs 800 crore mark at the worldwide box office and is now heading towards the Rs 1,000 crore mark. The film received polarized reactions from critics and audiences, but it doesn’t seem to be affecting the performance.

As predicted, ‘Animal’ witnessed a huge surge at the box office during the weekend. It is estimated that on Sunday 17th December the film has earned a net worth of around Rs 15 crore in India. The film still has a week left in theaters before the arrival of Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Dunky’ and Prabhas’s ‘Salaar’. The total collection of 17 days in India has now reached Rs 512.94 crore. On the 17th day, the film recorded an occupancy of 24.97 percent.

‘Animal’ has been written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, the film also featured Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Trupti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor and Siddhant Karnik. The film is about the tumultuous relationship between a father and son. Ranbir played the role of Ranvijay, a ruthless man obsessed with vengeance.

‘Animal’ releases in theaters on December 1 in multiple languages. It is one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2023.
