Animal Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2: Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is setting the box office on fire. According to film trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Animal has crossed the ₹200 crore mark at the worldwide box office in just two days. Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role along with Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, which released in theaters on December 1, has created history by giving the biggest opener for a non-holiday release for a Hindi film.

Animal earned ₹116 crore at the worldwide box office on its first day. The makers took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the opening day figures on Saturday. As per Sacnilk.com report, the film grossed approximately ₹66 crore in India on Saturday, taking its total collection in India in two days to ₹129.8 crore.

Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol’s revenge drama released in theaters on December 1. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film revolves around the toxic relationship between a father and son. While Anil Kapoor plays an emotionally unavailable father, Ranbir plays his angry son.

Recently the trailer of Animal was launched in Delhi, starring Ranbir along with Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna. Speaking at the press conference, Ranbir compared Animal with Karan Johar’s film Khushi Kabhie Kabhie Gham. Ranbir had said, “This is adult-rated happiness, sometimes sorrow.”

Earlier Animal was scheduled to release on August 11 this year and it would have clashed with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s OMG 2.
