Ankita Lokhande gave a statement on her film career, said- I am not in any rat race, I want to do meaningful films.

After a successful performance in Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande is all set to act on the big screen with ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’. Ankita will play the role of Yamuna Bai, Savarkar’s wife, who faced her own trials while her husband fought other battles. The actress spoke in an exclusive interview and said that she wants to be a part of meaningful films and not just any film to increase the number of films.

Ankita shared that she has chosen a career path where she wants to be associated with meaningful cinema. She said, “I don’t want to be seen everywhere. I want to be a part of certain things specifically. I want to play the way I like things. I want to do very different types of roles. It also gives me the confidence that I can go through such challenging parts. I don’t want to be part of the rat race. I don’t want to run. I have no problem with people who do that, but it’s not for me Whatever be my way, I will choose the best among them. I am very selective and choose my work wisely. I may make mistakes, but it will be only my decision.

During this interview, Ankita also talked about working in the industry for two decades. His journey began when he participated in the search for India’s Best Cinestar in the year 2004. She said, “When I look back, I can’t believe it’s been 20 years. I’m amazed that I did such a good job and found success. Everyone out there is doing so well.
