Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa has finally taken the leap. The promotional video of Leap was released months ago, in which there was a clear indication of the separation of Maan aka Anuj and Anupama. It was also shown that Anupama is now going to America and starting her new life. The story will now revolve around Anu’s journey, her struggles, dreams and more. After a leap of four years, the makers have released the first episode, which has surprised the audience. The most shocking update about the story going forward would be that Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) and Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) have been legally separated while fans speculated that they will not live together. Although there was no glimpse of Anuj and the Kapadia family in the new episode, it showed how Anupama is living her life after the leap.

Anupama has separated from Anuj

She now lives alone in Vadodara, Gujarat. Her mother has passed away and to support herself financially she runs a cookery show on YouTube. He has broken all relations with Shah and Kapadia. However, it is Devika who still cares for him. Devika tells Anupama that even though she (Anupama) and Anuj are divorced now, it cannot stop her from living life to the fullest.

Dimpy and Kavya’s children, new avatar of Vanraj

The Shahs, including Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey), Baa, Bapuji, Kavya (Madalsa Sharma) and Dimpy, have become more financially stable. Vanraj is shown as a successful businessman, Baa is back to her old avatar of a boss, while Dimpy and Kavya are blessed with a boy and a girl respectively. Kavya’s daughter lives in the hostel, because she knows that Vanraj does not like her daughter’s presence. Dimpy’s son is Vanraj’s favourite. Kavya asks Dimpy to move on with her life and asks if she has completely forgotten Tapish. In the upcoming episode you will see how Devika will hand over the US work permit to Anupama. Anu will go to America for work

As soon as Rupali Ganguly reaches America, her luggage is stolen. She works as a waitress in a restaurant to earn money. Anuj is also in America with his daughter. According to reports, he will take care of his daughter very carefully and ensure that she never feels sad. Anuj will hate Anupama for leaving him. Vanraj and Shah have to face difficulties as there is no earning member in the family. Kinjal and Toshu go to UK and Vanraj has to face everything alone. Dimpy will also run away from Shah House and meet Titu. She will stay away from the family and earn for her child. Kavya will also earn well and become a rich woman. She will give birth to a baby girl. Adhik will leave Pakhi and she will also stay in Shah house without any work. More will ask her to leave his life, because he doesn’t want a selfish woman like her. Malti Devi and Barkha live in Kapadia House as per their wish. They live a luxurious life and become the queen of the house. We will also see Anuj and Anupama meeting in America, but Anuj will not talk to her because younger Anu hates him.
