AR Rahman’s concert was scheduled to take place on 12 August. However, the concert was canceled at the last minute due to adverse weather. It was rescheduled to be held on 10 September. Billed as India’s largest concert, the event was attended by over 45,000 people.

However, the Chennai concert was not a pleasant experience for many. Tambaram police registered a case following complaints of harassment and poor crowd control. After investigation, police officials registered a case against ACTC Events under two sections.

Meanwhile, AR Rahman’s team is reaching out to those who could not enter the venue despite having valid tickets. Hemant Raja, head of ACTC Events, shared a video in which he apologized for all the inconvenience caused and promised a refund.
