Ashwin will return again in Rajkot test

Rajkot. India’s experienced off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will join the Indian team on the fourth day of the ongoing third Test against England at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.
R. Ashwin had gone to his home from Rajkot after the second day’s play due to personal reasons. This was the reason why he was not a part of the team on the third day. The statement of his withdrawal from the match came out at 11 pm on Friday night.
Ashwin took his 500th Test wicket of England opener Jack Crawley on the second day of the third Test in Rajkot. Speaking to Geo Cinema before the fourth day’s play, Kuldeep Yadav said that I am not sure, but I think Ash Bhai can come back.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah confirmed in a statement on Sunday that Ashwin will join the Indian team on day four of the Rajkot Test. He said that both R Ashwin and the team management are happy to confirm that he will be back in action on Day 4 and will continue to contribute for the team in the ongoing Test match.
On the third day, India extended their lead to 322 runs by scoring 196/2 in 51 overs at stumps. Left-handed opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 104 before retiring hurt due to back spasms, while Shubman Gill remained unbeaten on 65.
