Asian Games 2023: India crushes Pakistan 61-14 in Kabaddi, makes place in gold medal match

In the Asian Games 2023, the Indian men’s Kabaddi team has secured its place in the final by defeating Pakistan 61-14 in the semi-final match. With this victory, the Indian team has confirmed the silver medal. Now the Indian team will face Chinese Taipei or Iran in the final.

Talking about the match, the Indian team did not have a good start and Pakistan’s defenders first tackled captain Pawan Sehrawat and then Aslam Inamdar. After which, in the raid, he sent the Indian team on the back foot by dismissing Vishal and Nitesh. Naveen gave the lead to the Indian team by scoring 6 points in his 4 raids. In the seventh minute, Naveen dismissed the remaining two defenders of Pakistan and gave them all out. With this India’s lead became 11-4. Pawan Sehrawat also opened his account in the 9th minute and after that did a super raid and put pressure on Pakistan by scoring a point in his next raid. Aslam scored his first point in the 12th minute and with this Pakistan team was all out for the second time.

After this, India did not let its grip weaken at all and did not give any chance to Pakistan. Naveen meanwhile also completed his Super 10 and was instrumental in India’s comeback. In the 18th minute, India gave Pakistan the lead for the third time and almost eliminated them from the match.

In the second half, Sachin achieved a touch point in his first raid. But he was out in his very next raid. Aslam Inamdar meanwhile continuously scored points in his raiding. Sachin Tanwar went to raid in defense of three, but he got super tackled here and Pakistan got two points. Aslam Inamdar did brilliantly in the second half and did not allow Pakistan’s defense to settle. The Indian team once again came close to all out the Pakistan team and finally Sachin also got a point in the raid.

Overall in this match, India all out the Pakistani team 6 times. In the end, India won this match easily.
