Earlier today at Wankhede Stadium, Australia’s opening pair of Phoebe Litchfield and Alyssa Healy, who came to bat first toss, gave a great start to the team by taking the first wicket and making a partnership of 189 runs. Lichfield scored 119 runs in 125 balls with the help of 16 fours and one six. Whereas captain Alyssa Healy played an inning of 82 runs in 85 balls with the help of four fours and three sixes.
Elise Perry was out for 16 runs, Ashley Gardner 30, Annabel Sutherland 23 runs, Beth Mooney was out for three runs and Talia McGrath was out for zero. Georgia Wareham remained unbeaten on 11 and Alanna King remained unbeaten on 26 runs. Australia scored a huge score of 338 runs for seven wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Shreyanka Patil took three wickets for India. Amanjot Kaur got two wickets and Pooja Vastrakar and Deepti Sharma dismissed one batsman each.
