Avantika Vandanpu wants to work with Shahrukh, Deepika and Alia

Mumbai . Indian-American actress Avantika Vandanapu, famous for her role in ‘Mean Girls’, wants to be a part of Indian cinema. The actress said that she grew up watching Shahrukh Khan’s films like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and ‘Veer Zaara’.
Avantika, who will be seen in the Hindi series ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, said, “Coming from my roots as a child artiste and returning to India and now working in a Hindi series like Big Girls Don’t Cry is a dream come true.”
She said, “Since childhood, I have been watching Yash Chopra’s films like ‘Chandni’, ‘Veer Zaara’, ‘DDLJ’, ‘Dar’ and I have fallen in love with Indian cinema. I have a desire to work in Bollywood. The desire was born. I love the colours, the emotions and the joyous spirit of Indian films and I can’t wait to be a part of them.”
Avantika was born in an Indian, Telugu-speaking family. She made her mark by working in several Hollywood projects, including ‘Mean Girls’, ‘Spin’ and ‘Senior Years’.
The actress said that she would love to work with Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
The actress said, “I have grown up watching Shahrukh Khan, Deepika, Alia and many artists. I would love to work with him.”
‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ stars Pooja Bhatt, Mukul Chadda, Zoya Hussain and Raima Sen along with Avantika.
She is working on her next Hollywood project ‘Tarot’. This is a horror film, which is expected to be released later this year.
