Avika Gor to debut in OTT with Telugu web series

Mumbai: Actress Avika Gor, who started her career with the TV serial ‘Balika Vadhu’, is all set to make her OTT debut with a regional language web series. This Telugu web series will be a remake of Bengali web series ‘Indu’. Avika talks about its challenges. He said, “Working in a remake is always challenging because people have already seen amazing work and loved it.
So working in a remake is always difficult and challenging. It is a thriller which demands more performances than a comedy or a romance. It is very encouraging as I have watched both the seasons of the Bengali version. Looking forward to be a part of it in Telugu and other languages as Indu.”Avika has also worked in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 9’, ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’ etc.
She is also working in Krishna Bhatt’s ‘1920: Horrors of the Heart’ which is coming soon. She said, “This is my first web series, so I am excited. it’s interesting. I have not done any web series. Hotstar is a good medium to do this on a large scale. This platform is big enough for me to go ahead with it. That’s why I’ve chosen it. SVF Production is also good and a well known name for Bengali content. The shoot will start in May.”
