Avika Gor, who became a household name with her role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu, will soon be seen in the horror film 1920. Now the actress has revealed in an interview that she was shown the way out of Salman Khan’s films Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Aakhri at the last moment.

Avika said in an interview to Siddharth Kannan that she was offered two films of Salman Khan, but the production team decided to cast someone else in the eleventh hour.

He said, “Two weeks before the film, Salman Khan’s production called and said they had cast someone else. He must have had his reasons, he knows better.”

Avika did not connect this story with nepotism at all. He said that nepotism prevails in the South film industry more than in Bollywood.

Avika made her Telugu film debut with Uyyala Jampala (2013), and went on to work in Lakshmi Rave Maa Intiki, Cinema Chupishtha Mava, Thanu Nenu, Ekadiki Pothavu Chinnavada and Raju Gari Gadhi 3.

Now the actress is all set to make her Bollywood debut soon with the horror film 1920. The trailer of the film has been released and Avika is seen doing strong acting in it. Directed by Vikram Bhatt’s daughter Krishna Bhatt, the film will hit the theaters on June 23.
